Could your breathing be affected by lupus?

Pulmonary problems- if the pulmonary system becomes inflamed then it may cause issues. This can lead to chest pain when breathing in, which can be referred to as pleuritic chest pain. In the long term this can lead to the size of your lungs shrinking. This is one of the most common symptoms when it comes to lupus.
